Hobby Farming
Welcome to our Farm “Cimarron Valley Ranch” we raise Dexter Cattle, Nigerian Dwarf Goats, Laying Chickens. Our Herd of Dexters numbers about 8–10 minus calves. Our Nigerian Dwarf goats number about 12 with 10 does and 2 bucks minus any kids. Nigerians are a small milk goat we breed for dairy character. We milk our goats and make cheese, cajeta (mexican caramel sauce ) ice cream etc. Nigerians have a sweet high fat milk that is delicous. We have young orchard of about 20 trees Peaches & Apples. Lastly we have 3 Standard Schnauzers 2 are Champions and have numerous titles, we have a drop out daughter (dog) Sassi she fits her name and excels at attitude, guarding and herding potential. Also our oldest little Aqui a black/silver Miniature Schnauzer. I must not forget our Great Pyrenees our Livestock guardian he has the run of the farm but his main job is protecting the goats. Which he does very well. We love the farm life it is very busy, hard work that never seems to end but very satisfying. I would rather be out in the Pasture than in an office. We sell fresh farm brown eggs.
